After only a year and a half, our computer has died due to a failed hard drive. We're going to Best Buy to have them get everything off of it and buy an external hard drive. The search for an improved, longer lasting computer has started-although I'm so mad we have to spend the money for it...grrr. I knew there was a reason why we decided not to get another car right now. Any opinions for a new computer are greatly appreciated.

Try to back up your external hard drive you're getting too. My sister had one, it contained all her photos she took from weddings, senior pics, etc. and it crashed or something. She lost everything that was on it. There was no way for them to get the pictures back. Just wanted to give you that little tip so it doesn' happen to you guys too!!
one word MAC BOOK... ok that was two words. We have had our desk top for 5 years now, it has never given us a problem. And our mac book is 2 years old and no problems. Macs are def worth the extra investment. just sayin:)
