Beach Time

We took a day trip up to the Dunes before heading to Chicago and it was a lot of fun. Nora's first trip to the beach was a success.  I'm so glad it was last weekend and not this weekend because the humidity was really low.  I've never been up to the Indiana Dunes, but for a short 2.5 hours from Indy, all interstate, to go to the beach wasn't bad.  We went to Central Beach in Beverly Shores, highly recommend to anyone planning a trip up there in the future.  It was free and free to park-we packed a cooler and had lunch & snacks for the day.  Outside of the 60 degree water (brr it was cold) and the nuclear plant to the east in the distance you wouldnt know you were in Indiana!
