1st Cookout of the year!

Today we had our first cookout of the year. We headed over to what is "our neighborhood" by association or Saddlebrook for those of you Lafayetteans. We have friends who live over there and all their neighbors or our neighbors I should say, are always outside as long as weather permits. Today was an awesome day to be outside, granted it was only 58 degrees, but with the sunshine it felt like 85-not really but you get what I mean. Grilled hotdogs and hamburgers were on the menu along with other summery foods like strawberries, potato salad, etc you get the point. This Tuesday its supposed to be 68! It should be a nice St. Pattys Day. Jake is looking forward to having an annual green beer although it wont be the same without Jacko and Al this year. Last year we went to Jakes for a while, got T-shirts and hung out like old times. It really kinda stinks getting older, well only the missing your friends part.
