A Busy Fall As Usual!

It's been a buys past few weeks for us with school, football, and family coming to town! I think my stress levels were tested the past 2 weeks-I've never had so many presentations to give and papers to turn in. I thought Senior year would be a little easier than Junior year, but I guess not. Last time I blogged Purdue was 2-0 and had beaten Toledo and Eastern Illinois. Now, Purdue is 5-0 and has beaten Central Michigan, Minnesota, and Notre Dame! Up next is probably

our most challenging game of the season versus the ever so ugly OSU Buckeyes. Since I have predicted the Boilers to go to the Rose Bowl again, we must come out of the game with a win to reach this prediction. So what if it might be a little stretch! I could use a vacation to California! Here are some pictures of Jake in action or not the past few weeks!

After the Central Michigan game, Jakes dad played music at the Endzone Bar and Grill. We got a chance to spend time with Courtney and Bean (Jakes friends from highschool), Jason and Tabatha, Jim and Kammie, Jessica (his sister) and his parents. It was a good time, but we underestimated the temperature drop that night and were freezing. Pictures: the band, Jake and I, and Brittany and I for a few posed pictures!

Its that time of year again, and the Butera Family held their 2nd annual Apple Orhard Harvest Festival! This year we had tons of food and desserts, along with hay rides, and apple picking. There were 10x more apples this year than there were last year-has something to do with the first frost last year. I'm still eating on the apples I picked 2 weeks ago! After picking tons of apples, we made apple cidar! Fresh cidar is so much better than that 'cidar' you buy from Payless-if it's even called that. Here are a few pictures from the festival:
