We are finally Aunt and Uncle of John & Rach's adorable twin babie girls Ann Margaret & Nellie Mae! We were so excited to hear that Rachel would be having them the night we returned from our honeymoon. Jake and I stayed in Mooresville until the bundles of joy arrived on Tuesday, June 17th. At 12:09 am Ann Margaret was born weighing in at 4 lbs. 14 oz.

Waiting for my diaper to be put on & for Aunt Rox to stop that flash from hurting my eyes!
Smiling for my first photo opportunity!HI MOM :)
Trying to open my eyes!
My super model pose-Fierce!
And at 12:10 am, Nellie Mae was born weighing in at a larger 5 lbs. 6 oz. We arent sure if they are identical yet, but their first peds appointment is tomorrow where the tests will tell the truth! The night they were born we didnt get a chance to hold them so thats what we spent this past Sunday doing down in Monrovia. We woke up Sunday and headed to John and Rachs house to see the girls. They are the calmest babies-granted all they do is sleep and eat-that I've ever seen. I couldnt put them down long enough for someone else to grab them, I'm just glad there is two to go around or else everyone else may have gotten upset with me. We had lunch at Jakes parents house and then back to John and Rachs so Jake and John could golf. Little did they know, a storm was brewing and they didnt finish 18 holes-but they'll get over it and go another time :) I was content holding Nellie and Ann while watching a movie with Rach.

Nellie-ready to play...well maybe!
Today we layed out at Paps' pool for a bit then went to Greenwood to look at furniture. We decided that we would buy ourselves new living room furniture with the money we received from the wedding-that process was a little difficult knowing we would have it for a while. After coming home to Lafayette, we went to check out an apartment for next year at Cross Winds-its a new place off St. Rd. 38 that we had never seen before. Turns out the place was perfect with a pool, fitness center, w/d, large rooms, 2 bdrm, 2 bth and all for the right price! That takes a huge load off our backs. We move in July 25th and that date couldnt come quicker.
After signing a lease we bought our pots and pans from Bed, Bath, & Beyond with the gift certificates from the wedding and a few other odds and ends. We also went to Kohls to use a gift card there on a wall hanging! How exciting is home shopping and decorating?! After all that shopping, we went to visit my brother and chubbs and to drop off some of our old kitchen stuff that we have no use for-he was very appreciative for everything and then asked if we had colander we needed to get rid of! Hes crazy, but we love him! Thats all for tonight-hopefully we'll put up the honeymoon pics soon. Just a side note: Being married is a blast!
